FinCEN AML Program
We maintain a written Anti-Money Laundering program under the Bank Secrecy Act (31 CFR 1027) — the federal rule governing dealers in precious metals. Covers risk assessment, customer identification, ongoing monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting (SAR / FinCEN Form 8300 where applicable).
Identity Verification (KYC)
Every customer completes identity verification through Plaid Identity Verification (SOC 2 Type II) — government-issued ID document check plus liveness selfie. Bank-account ownership is independently cross-checked against the verified identity to detect impersonation.
OFAC Sanctions Screening
Customer identities and crypto wallet addresses are screened against the U.S. Treasury's OFAC sanctions lists (SDN and consolidated). Lists are refreshed regularly so transactions involving sanctioned parties are blocked at the source.
PCI-DSS Card Processing
Credit and debit card transactions are processed by Authorize.net, a PCI-DSS Level 1 service provider. Card details go directly from your browser to Authorize.net's vault — we never see or store your full card number on our servers.
IRS Reporting
Customer sell-backs that meet IRS reportable-quantity thresholds are filed on Form 1099-B. Cash transactions exceeding $10,000 (where applicable) are filed on Form 8300. Year-end tax summaries are available in your account.
